Cowobbee Pastral Company - Paul and Virginia Kurtz

Demeter Biodynamic Accredited

Located on the top of the Great Dividing Range (1200m above sea level) the farm has ewes, cows and white suffolk lamb that are fed mostly on there own grown grain and cool clean rain water. The chickens run over the property during the day and are locked away from the foxes at night. Their sheds are mobile to give them a change of fed and to help fertilze the paddocks. The chooks choose what they want to eat which includes the wheat grain in their sheds. As a consequence there is a variation in colour size and consistancey.

These are some very happy chickens laying us 'golden rays of sunshine' wrapped up in an egg.
